New board of directors for Air Jamaica on Cabinet’s agenda

Approval is expected to be granted Tuesday for the appointment of a new Board of Directors to head the national airline Air Jamaica.The matter is on the agenda of the meeting of the Cabinet.Transport Minister Mike Henry says the new Air Jamaica Board will be a mixture of old and new faces.Speculation is rife that former Jamaica Labour Party (JLP) Spokeswoman on Commerce, Shirley Williams, is to take over as Chairman of the airline.
