Air Jamaica Honoured for Contribution to Peace and Sustainable Tourism

National carrier, Air Jamaica, has been honoured by Counterpart International for furthering the cause of using sustainable tourism to enhance and improve the health, wealth, culture and environment of the communities it serves.
The airline was presented with the World Tourism Forum Award for Peace and Sustainable Tourism at Counterpart International's 2007 World Leadership Awards at Guastavino's in New York City on Wednesday (Sept. 19).

Marketing Plan for Air Jamaica

Air Jamaica is an Airline that serves the US, UK the Caribbean and other parts of the world. As apart of apart of air Jamaica marketing plan they are now planning to launch Online Check-in Service. The new option, Web Check-In (WCI), will significantly expedite the check-in process and enable passengers to reduce the length of time checking in at the airport. During the initial rollout of this service, it will be available to passengers departing from Kingston, Montego Bay, Miami and Fort Lauderdale, allowing them to check-in four to 18 hours before the scheduled departure. The online feature allows passengers with electronic tickets to check-in for their flight, select a seat and print a check-in confirmation from the comfort of their home, hotel or office.
